Time is Limited

I have somewhat of a love affair with time. I think about time, quite a lot. It just so happens I’m fast approaching my 30th birthday, and as I enter the 4th decade of my life, considering just how *fast* the last 10 years seemed to fly, and feeling the next will only feel *faster*, before you know it I’ll be 40 and half my life is over..

It might sound like I’m signing away the next ten years before they’ve even happened, but there is a feeling something like this happened the last 5 years.. 2020, and the pandemic feels yesterday, but the start of the pandemic is now 5 years ago.. the same amount of time “high school” felt to take, although that was a much longer “5 years”.

What matters is, I only have one amount of time allotted to me – each day (and not even that is guaranteed). Only each day can I safeguard the use of my time, be productive and make sure I am working hard to build the achievements I want, rather than regrets.

These days, one’s attention (and time) really has to be safeguarded, otherwise before you know it it’s gone on frivolous nothings.

Again, like I’ve said so many times, my game requires so much time, I simply don’t have the hours to spare.
It’s now 07:00 am.
Time to work.
