Another week begins! So this last week, I did not work on the game at all – it’s funny how naked that made me feel, I’ve been absolutely itching to get back on the grind.
Problem was, I might be moving soon, and instead of having to drop everything and move in total chaos, I’ve taken the time to reorganize and level up my personal living quarters. It’s a principle I’m taking to all areas of my life, rn.
It really feels like I am in this amazing transitional period. There are 5 weeks including this one until my scheduled dev-log period will be over, and the object was, I would have produced my demo then.. Once again, it seems unlikely, and I may have to extend by a few weeks, but that’s ok, I’ll wait until I get to week 27 and then make a judgement about how much time to conservatively schedule, to *finally* get my demo, published, shining bright on Steam :D.
The next Steam fest will be in June, and I’m so, so looking forward to it. We’re already almost at the end of January.
So, the task for this week, will be do some much needed project cleanup, refactoring, and getting everything “house tidy”. That’s at least this week and it may be next week as well. But in between there will be Steamworks stuff, UI implementation work, more Biomes and PCG, and locomotion and animation.
Happy New Week :D.
