The game dev grind continues! Have had a lot of fun on the weekend, although intense, banging a way at some of the more technical stuff – I can make the February Steamfest, but it means very intense days.
Having said that, the momentum of dev at the moment and the excitement is self fuelling and so I’m putting in 11+ hour days consistently, day after day, and that is counting hugely.
There has never been a period in my adult life I’ve been able to rally myself to effecitvely and operate with sufficient executive function, like I am doing now.
In a few short weeks, once closer to February I’ll begin to share and these Dev logs will be of a different nature.
I’ve been up since 04am today and began work at 05:30, I tend to take a couple hours to burn off some sleep inertia in the morning and in the evening spend 2-3 hours decompressing also. This means I consistently can keep dedicating the high volume of technical work.
